Join Transition Woodbridge again on their challenge to only eat food produced within a 30 mile radius of Woodbridge for the 30 days of September.

Get involved by sourcing your food locally for one meal, one day, one week, or if you're feeling really brave the whole of September.

The aim of the challenge is to encourage us all to think about where our food comes from. By sourcing our food locally we can support local producers and retailers and build the local economy. The idea was originally dreamt up by the Transition Ipswich Food Group but has since been adopted by Greener Fram, Greener Sax and Transition Woodbridge.

Those that took part last year have said that not only did they learn a lot about local producers and what is actually available close to home but also had fun meeting new people.

Where to get your food

It's not always easy to find the food local to your area. Not to worry, help is at hand. The good folks at the Transition Ipswich Food Group have kindly done the hard work and built a list of local retailers and producers in the form of these beautiful interactive maps.
